(Shasta Daisy) Compact plant size and earlier to flower, Leucanthemum ‘Whitecap’ is a solid addition to gardens and landscapes. Blooming up to 2 weeks earlier than other Shasta daisies, ‘Whitecap’ features bright white daisy flowers with a sunshine yellow eye. Standing 14-16 inches tall and wide, the compact mounding habit is a perfect size for garden borders and containers. Hardy in zones 5-9, Shasta Daisy ‘Whitecap’ likes to be grown in full sun locations with well-drained soil. This long-blooming perennial shows signs of color from summer until fall with a light trim to remove spent blooms encouraging a new cycle of flowers. This rabbit-resistant perennial attracts butterflies and pollinators to the garden. An excellent cut flower, enjoy ‘Whitecap’ in a cut flower bouquet in your home.
