(Gardenia) Long blooming and beautifully fragrant, STEADY AS SHE GOES® Gardenia is a stellar performer in our trials. Standing 3-5 feet tall and spreading up to 4-7 feet wide, STEADY AS SHE GOES® Gardenia features a compact mound of glossy bright green foliage. This continuous bloomer sends fully double, white fragrant flowers all summer long. Even when the heat of summer sets in, STEADY AS SHE GOES® just continues to send out more blooms. Hardy in zones 7-10, we have even seen some luck with overwintering for southern 6b gardens. Gardenia likes to be planted in full sun to part shade locations and is drought tolerant once established. No need to worry about deer, with this deer resistant shrub. Plant as a border, in mass, or as a foundation plant, and enjoy the sweet scent as you walk past. STEADY AS SHE GOES® Gardenia is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Shrub.
