(Mock Orange) Bring back the nostalgia of grandma’s garden with the citrus scent of Illuminati Sparks™ Mock orange. The old-fashioned look of Mockorange has been updated with a more pleasing look and better garden performance. Illuminati Sparks™ features stunning variegated foliage that is dark green with bright golden yellow speckles. In early summer, clusters of citrus-scented white flowers emerge on long arching stems. Standing 3-4 feet tall and wide, it forms an upright mounding habit. Planted in full sun to part shade locations, Mock Orange is versatile in many soil types, including clay. Hardy in zones 4-7, this deer-resistant shrub blooms from the old growth. We recommend not trimming after mid-July, or you may sacrifice the next season’s blooms. Mock Orange Illuminati Sparks™ is A Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub. *** Variegation may disappear in the heat of the summer, but it will resume in cooler temperatures.
