The Colander Garden Trug is an essential tool for any home gardener looking for a practical and durable way to harvest and clean their produce. Made from sturdy, rot-proof green plastic, this garden trug is built to withstand the rigors of regular outdoor use. Whether you’re gathering ripe tomatoes, fresh lettuce, herbs, or cut flowers, this trug makes the job easier and cleaner. Its lightweight design ensures that it’s comfortable to carry, even when filled with the weight of a full harvest.
What truly sets this garden trug apart is its thoughtful colander-style design. The base and lower sides feature well-spaced holes that allow dirt, debris, and excess water to drain away with ease. This makes it incredibly useful for rinsing fruits and vegetables right after picking—just give them a quick spray with the hose or a dunk in water and let them drip dry directly in the basket. It’s especially handy for crops like carrots, radishes, and leafy greens that tend to collect soil at their base.
The trug’s generous size offers plenty of room for a full day’s harvest, yet it’s still easy to carry thanks to its built-in handles and lightweight material. Unlike wood or metal containers, this plastic trug won’t rust, splinter, or degrade over time. It also rinses clean in seconds, ready for the next trip to the garden. Whether you’re a backyard vegetable grower or a flower enthusiast, the Colander Garden Trug is a reliable and efficient companion for all your harvesting needs.
