‘Bowles Me Away’ Wallflower (Erysimum)

(Wallflower) Beautiful lilac blooms that flower from spring through the summer, that is what you will get with Erysimum linifolium ‘Bowles Me Away’. Standing 18-24 inches tall and wide, this mounding perennial features dark green foliage with purple stems and a hint of purple on the foliage. Flower spikes emerge with lilac-purple flowers that start at the bottom of the stem and open to the top. Hardy in zones 6-8, Erysimum ‘Bowles Me Away’ can handle the heat and humidity of summer, but does like to be planted in part shade to full shade locations with moderate to moist, well-drained soil. Blooming from spring through fall, we recommend giving your Erysimum ‘Bowles Me Away’ a light trim when it is done blooming to encourage new flower growth.
