Pinto Beans are oval, medium-sized garden beans often used in Latin cuisines.
Pinto beans are easy to grow, and they provide excellent nutritional value. This indeterminate, large bush-type bean variety grows best in full sun and well-drained, fertile soil.
Incorporate organic matter into your soil at planting, then fertilize as flowering and bud-set begin. Be sure to provide adequate amounts of water.
Plan on drying beans? Dried beans do require a longer growing season, as you harvest them at full maturity.
